If it is to take time for the family on vacation, think most of us only get a hotel room. Of course one could also consider a tent, camper or trailer, and maybe even a beach condo, but how many of us recognize that we have more possibilities for a place to sleep during the holidays?
To be honest, I am a very smart guy and I have the vacation thing, first with my parents and then with my wife and my children, but until a few years ago, I never knew that something like a bed and rental cottage or breakfast. My father knew hotels of course, but he would never be considered unnecessary money. Until the age of twelve years, we have only slept in a tent when we went on vacation. Three years later, we have caught in massive rain while we camped. Our tent – although beautiful – leak when it rained. Three of the holidays in a row we had to pack up and leave in the middle of the night, after we woke up to us to see an inch of water in our tent.
My mother had a big influence on my father. . . in a strange way. After three years of holidays in rubble and ashes she put her foot down. She told him that we never again to spend our holidays in a tent. She got her way, but not in the way it should, too. She won her argument that we have never spent our holidays in a tent. But Dad also has his and we never money for a hotel room instead, we spent a holiday in our own home. When I was twelve, we have never taken a family vacation.
Well, it’s almost true. When I was sixteen years old, the father bought one of these pop-up camper. When I was sixteen years old, we took a family vacation and stayed in the camper travel trailer pop-ups. But do not know. . . It rained and the camper to drain. As an adult I do not have the same kind of scruples, my father had on hotels. When my wife and I went to Las Vegas for our honeymoon, we stayed at the Stratosphere Hotel. From our hotel rooms are very expensive, we could look at our window and see. . . the concrete wall at the base of the tower. It was great.
After our children were born, we took two vacations in San Antonio, where we stayed with my aunt and uncle. But the descent was quite long, so we took a hotel room in transit. We get a hotel room for a night on the road to San Antonio, and we took a room on the way home.
We got on well with the hotel of our trip until we stayed at the Best Western one night. All went well until we examine and left. Imagine the shock and anger when we realized that the hotel had put a PlayStation in the space available, and our four children and six years, stood in the middle of the night to play video games. Our hotel room costs $ 45 to $ 120 ended us! OMG I was pissed! Accommodation Experience
I must say that when I had finally found vacation rentals, I am happy to no end. If I am to spend $ 120 per night, can not simply be the experience of vacation.
Especially when you do multiple nights to your vacation destination, is a holiday idea of common sense. If you still are in power, rental of vacation is just what it sounds. It is to rent a house, the same way you can rent a hotel room with one notable exception. The exception is that the lease separate rooms for guests, a fully equipped kitchen, a fenced play garden for children, sometimes, a swimming pool and a comfortable lounge, often with a large screen HDTV in it.
Think of your friend’s house, and then think the most beautiful house visited. A house is usually even more beautiful than the houses of all my friends and family.
Prices for holiday homes for rent vary considerably, depending on location, size and properties. But I managed to rent a certain number of vacation for less than $ 125 per night. What was so special about this is that to have the letting of houses a fully equipped kitchen in the house, with a complete set of dishes for cooking and eating. While we were in a distant goal, we did not, all meals in a restaurant. This advantage, one more than offset the additional costs of renting the cottage. Bed and Breakfast (B & B) are ideal to live the good life, but they are not always appropriate to bring children with you on your vacation.
A friend of my wife, we had a bed and breakfast that she had visited with her husband spoke. She talked about the experience with someone to cook and pamper yourself in no end. Friend of my wife enjoyed the B & B so much experience that she and her husband, to visit as often as possible, even if it’s just all over the city.
friend of my wife had spoken, the experience so much that my wife insisted that we have a babysitter for our children for the weekend, so we found in the bed and breakfast provide experience. We knew, and it was really pleasant, relaxing and memorable.
We checked into the B & B on Friday night and spent the weekend there. Friday night, we slipped into the spa for an evening of refreshing bubbles. The bubbles of the spa, we enjoyed the champagne in our drinks.
Saturday morning we rose early to ride. Unlike the first time I rode a horse, it was a good time. The first time I rode a horse, the horse along the beach and snack stand on the grass, ignore me when I told him to leave. After the guy horse back and got my horse moved twice, he finally failed and pulled the horses with me. The change of horses can not solve the problem. Somehow, the two horses know that I have never been on a horse, and they took advantage of me.
But when my wife and I have the B & B weekend, we rode horses on Saturday morning, and my horse did, and together, what to do. . . God, I thank you.
For lunch we were treated to a special meal – one of the best I’ve eaten in my life. Then we took a dip in the pool in the afternoon, then took a short nap. At dinner we were treated to a candlelit dinner in our room. We returned to the spa on Saturday evening, we will never forget then to our room for one night.
We spent a quiet Sunday morning bed before the afternoon. After leaving the B & B, we have a relaxed atmosphere and slow journey taken home, then raised the children of the family babysitter.
It was a nice change from the ordinary. The whole holiday experience
I learned some very important lessons in the last ten years:
* I’ve learned that we do not do the tent or RV experience and the experience of the frustration that my parents lived on a family holiday.
* I’ve learned that the hotels are not really all they are cracked up to be ugly and have many surprises.
* After the opportunity for the rental of vacation, I learned that if I wanted to spend even one night away from home with the children, then a holiday to our holiday much more pleasant and enjoyable.
* Having the chance to rent a bed and breakfast after the weekend I’ve learned that when my wife and I have a chance to the children for a weekend leave, we would be crazy to, the opportunity to spend the weekend at the B & B delivered at our discretion.
In the constant struggle to find a holiday that many people see the best and the worst that can happen during a family holiday. My parents have tried for years to create memorable family vacation fought, and they have succeeded in all the wrong ways.
Sorry, the holidays often create abnormally high levels of stress when you actually try to relax. Therefore, many families often prefer to stay home when it comes to holidays. But the good news is that it can enjoy better opportunities for those to remember family vacation – a trip that unforgettable for all the right reasons.
